Introduction:

Easy Net Control Client (ENC Client) is complementary software for use with ENC Server. ENC Client allows receive and execute all the instructions incoming from its ENC Server, this means that workstations with ENC Client could be shutdown, restart, logoff, receive message and execute commands from a remote machine. Install ENC Client in all the machines you wish to manage remotely using ENC Server. ENC Client provides a secure remote manage of workstations due to their centralized architecture each ENC Client could connect to only one ENC Server fixed and previously configured in the ENC Client settings. Any machine with ENC Client installed could be shutdown or restarted remotely even if not users are logged. ENC Client help you to save HDD disk space of your network machines if any user are logged and you send a logoff, shutdown or restart command ENC Client will clean all the current user logged temporal files and Internet Explorer Temporal Files this action commonly clean some gigabytes of garbage files. ENC Client has an optimized implementation and it uses normally less than the 5% of your computer microprocessor time so you workstations performance will remain excellent.

Enabling and Disabling ENC Client:

Disabling ENC Client will disconnect workstation from their ENC Server until the restart of the workstation or manual Enable again. If one workstation is disconnected you could not receive any instruction from your ENC Server this mean that the machine could not be shutdown, restart, receive massage, and execute command coming from their ENC Server.

To Disable ENC Client right click on the notify icon of ENC Client located in the taskbar and select the Disable button; local password will be necessary to Disable ENC Client (after install, password default value is admin).

 

To Enable ENC Client right click on the notify icon of ENC Client located in the taskbar and select the Enable button.

After enable ENC Client you will be reconnected to your ENC Server, and could receive again all the instructions that come from it.

 

Closing ENC Client:

 Closing your ENC Client application will only disable the incoming user instructions like logoff, receive message, execute command, and all the possibilities of handling shutdown and restart. After close ENC Client you will continue receiving Shutdown and Restart instruction but you will not be able to handle these events.

To Close ENC Client right click on the notify icon of ENC Client located in the taskbar and select the Close button; local password will be necessary to Close ENC Client (after install, password default value is admin).

Handling Shutdown, Restart, and Logoff incoming instructions:

If your ENC Client receives an incoming instruction like Shutdown, Restart, or Logoff a warning message will be displayed to you with a Yes or Not button. Click Yes button to confirm the incoming order, or Not button to cancel the instruction, in this case the local password will be necessary.

Warning:

If you fail typing the correct password more than 3 times, the instructions will be executed immediately.

 In Shutdown, Restart, and Logoff message ENC Client will wait a time specified in the ENC Client settings before execute any of this instructions.
